Here are a few sites and tips I have come across that can help to get the ball rolling:

How to Personalize Your Wedding Vows
If you're really struggling, there are services out there that help you write your own vows:
Perfectly Noted
One thing that helps me when I need to write anything lovey dovey is to listen to my favorite music and incorporate some of the song lyrics into what I am trying to say.
Are you writing your own vows? How did you get started? Did you have a particular website or guide that helped make the process easier?

You have some awesome tips for your brides! I added your link to my blog links! Thanks for the pic credit.
Awww-thanks Jamie :)
My husband and I wrote our own vows - it was awesome. We both just wrote from the heart about how we felt about each other and what we meant to each other in life's journey. That's the great thing about writing your own vows - there really are no rules, IMO. They should just reflect what you want them to in your own way. BTW, I framed both of our vows and moved last year and can't find them - it's driving me crazy!!!
Writing wedding vows is about giving voice to the dream a couple has for their life together. That dream is then reflected into their vows. Here's the best part, or the biggest secret to the power of wedding vows. They have to be reread and reread and reread over and over and over until they become infused into the couples minds and lives. It seems like a simple thing but it can be magic.
I call wedding vows that have been written with a powerful dream in them a One Page Miracle. My blog is about 'living the dream.' www.WeddingVowsandCeremonies.com/blog
I have two Ebooks on writing wedding vows at my web site: www.WeddingVowsandCeremonies.com
Mainly I want couples to know that their vows can be one of the most important documents that they will ever write. It has the potential to draw to them everything they could ever imagine.

Sahar-what a great idea to frame your vows. How powerful to have something like that out as a daily reminder of the promises you made to each other! Good luck finding them!
Rev. Linda-thanks for the comment. Your blog has a ton of great tips for couples who are writing their own vows.
